as i was sitting and watching towmater and the ghostlight, for the third time in a row, with the boys i was thinking about all that has happened this year. here is a run down of all the big moments for us good, bad or ugly and in no particular order:
- i went from working at the early childhood lab to fredonia elementary - an awesome move for me!! that whole experience taught me lots but one important thing was that i can be happy and enjoy life
- lane played tball for his second season in a row and loved it, riley got to play too on the side -the coach was really gracious and let him practice with the team, it is hard sitting out and watching big brother play
- we had a great summer and were able to relax and enjoy family and friends
- lane turned five!! we had a knights party at the house - the castle cake was pretty awesome if i do say so myself
- travis was promoted to captain!!!! - i am so proud of him
- lane started kindergarten!! i know i can't believe my baby is already in school
- riley started attending a new school - the methodist preschool - it was hard leaving sonshine but he loves it now
- we had lots of fun times at wet creek with gigi and tractor - sliding down the hill like a slip and slide, swimming in the kiddie pool (well that was just the boys) and watching old movies
- Nanny's 80th birthday party
- tyler my nephew turned one!!!
- travis was deployed with the texas task force several times - including hurricane ike
- riley turned four - he had a superhero party at the church - it was a hit!
- we were all four in kelsey and liz's wedding
- we went to DISNEY WORLD and DISNEY CRUISE with granny and pawpaw - loads of fun!!!! the boys are already asking when we can go back!
- i had foot surgery three days before christmas - not so much fun : (
- christmas here at home with the boys - Santa brought scooters and lots of other goodies!!!
looking back our year has been very eventful and FULL of good times!!! i thank GOD for giving us another happy and healthy year and for the new one to come! Happy New Year!!!
